Especially looking at a Guard, most of your stats will generally crack 80 with the Shot Creating Archetype.

Shot Creating: In addition to Driving & Finishing, Shot Creating is also worth considering because it buffs your stats and caps for both three-point and mid-range at the same time.

If you pair it with something like Three-Point, you'll have a really solid start.

Balanced Builds: In general, Driving and Finishing is a good archetype to have if you want a player that can both score and defend.

If you make a player with long arms he'll be better on defense, and short arms buff your offense.

Likewise, heavier players tend to have lower Vertical and Ball Speed stats. Height generally offers a hitbox boost to your lower stats unless you really want to go small with a pure shooter.

Height and Weight Matter: In most situations, you shouldn't be making a player shorter than 6 feet 6 inches tall if you want him to be versatile on the court.

Here are a few general player build tips to be aware of:

Rebounding: Rebounding, Stamina and Strength.

Post-Scoring: Layups, Post Offense and Strength.

Defending: Steals, Blocks, Lateral Quickness, Speed and Acceleration.

Driving & Finishing: You're good at Layups, Dunks, Verticals, Speed and Acceleration.

Three-Point Scoring: Mid-Range and Three-Point scoring are good when you start here.

Shot Creating: Mid-range shots and Acceleration are good when you start here.

Passing & Ball Handling: When you start here, your biggest stat boosts are typically in Steals, Ball Handling and Acceleration.
